A two-hour, research-backed workshop designed to help you reach your goals in work, sport, health and/or life and to overcome any unexpected challenges on the way.

(Standard rate of $A130 after Jan 18)

Why this workshop?

Everyone’s going through something right now. At work, at home, in health, in relationships, or in trying with all their might to achieve a personal goal that’s meaningful, challenging and important. That next bike race perhaps. Or more time to lean into what makes you delightfully happy.

I wrote the initial content for this workshop at a time when I was rebuilding several parts of life at once. The path ahead was unstable and uncertain. My career pathway had disappeared with the Covid pandemic, my health was wobbly, the people I cared about were grieving losses of their own, and my partner and I had to evacuate our rental of 14 years due to mould that saw us lose most of our worldy possessions.

I learned that you can’t fix everything at once. But that working toward one goal has ripple effects on the others.

I also learned how valuable my own original research on how athletes cope and perform under pressure was for providing tools I could apply in other life situations – skills I quickly wished other people had more access to, which is why I created this workshop. It’s the advice I needed to hear in one of the most challenging times I’ve experienced, but focused instead so you can draw on these principles, techniques and expertise to reach your own goals.

What makes this workshop unique?

Most goal-setting advice tells you to work harder. Or to ditch what you’ve been doing and do it all differently. This workshop is different. It starts by building on what you already do well and the capacity that you have, helping you understand more about why those strategies are so beneficial, and how to add to them with others.

The goal is to provide a proactive toolkit for working smarter, not harder, even when the path ahead is unclear; a toolkit you can draw on whenever you need it, and one that encourages you to trust your own process rather than someone else’s.

You won’t find this workshop anywhere else. Designed around my original research in cognitive science and performance studies, and the kinds of life experiences that provide grounding and empathy without needing to be the focus of the discussion, this interactive online session provides a proven set of strategies to help you navigate the inevitable challenges of 2026 with confidence, clarity, and more ease.

Don’t feel you have to deal with the hard stuff by pushing through it. Lean into what works, and surprise yourself by what you bring to those tricky situations that you hadn’t been able to articulate until now.

What you will experience (outline)

Over two focused hours, you will visualise a big goal you have for 2026 – whether that’s in work, sport, health or life. You’ll immediately equip yourself with a new perspective on your existing skills, a more robust-feeling plan for applying them, and a deeper appreciation of how different parts of your life work together to support the bigger picture.

  • Part 1: Welcome and Hellos

A quick hello, welcome and outline of what to expect. Take some time to settle in, think about your main goal for the months ahead.

  • Part 2: The Power of Community

Relieve the pressure of “having to know it all” by leaning into collaboration and understanding how to leverage the complementary skills of your network.

  • Part 3: Redefining Failure

Discover a simple, powerful model for supporting yourself and others through setbacks, treating failure as valuable data, not a personal indictment.

  • Part 4: The Shift from Fear to Fuel

Learn the cognitive science behind working with anxiety, reframing it as critical information that drives, rather than defeats, your success.

  • Final Activation: You’ll leave with your goal re-visualised, fleshed out, and feeling genuinely exciting…with the added calmness that comes with a clearer picture of what the road ahead looks and feels like, and how you can draw on support along the way.

*The workshop may change and adjust a little as the date gets closer, but it will stick to these original goals and themes.
